Dorcas AS has for a number of years delivered products for heat and cold therapy to physiotherapists, chiropractors, health institutions and specialist shops and increasingly to consumer chain stores in several EU countries. We also supply the consumer market from our own outlet. We develop and produce several of our own products, often in co-operation with healthcare specialists. Additionally, we offer products from selected and renowned manufacturers.

Heat Therapy
Dorcas Gel Pack® is manufactured for heating in a hydro-collator, 55- 70°C . It contains a gel with a very high heat capacity. Soft, malleable laminated plastic, clean and hygienic. Anatomically moulded making it easy, efficient and comfortable to use. Designed in co-operation with physiotherapists for optimal functionality. Heating time approximately 15 minutes. Releases heat to the patient throughout the whole treatment session (average total heat loss approximately 8°C ). Can be left in the hydro-collator continuously.
Available in several models and sizes. Can be provided imprinted with a chosen logo.

Dorcas Activator Packs® are a series of unique heat packs for use in health care and nursing, which help prevent against the development of occupational repetitive strain injuries, are for use in sport and recreational activities and for personal comfort. Gives tense muscles and connective tissues a comfortable and safe mobility. The heat pack is simple and hygienic to use and provides a gentle comfortable heat of approximately 54°C . Provides heat for over half an hour. Heat is activated by pressing the built in activator switch. The pack heats up in seconds, and can be recharged and re-used several hundred times. The pack contains a harmless saline solution. Available in several models and sizes. Can be provided imprinted with a chosen logo.
Dorcas Micro Pack® for professional and private use. A series of the markets most functional micro packs. Soft and malleable with a large contact surface area. Easy to use, does not prevent normal movement. Manufactured for heating in microwave ovens, but can also be heated in a kettle or saucepan. The pack is warmed in 2-5 minutes in a microwave oven. The outer cover is made from washable cotton. The inner pack is made of linen / cotton, separated into 5 compartments containing grains as heating elements and aroma from real Lavender (also available without Lavender). Perfect for employees of businesses with access to a microwave oven. Can also be used as a cold pack by placing it in the freezer for an hour. Available in a variety of models and sizes.
Dorcas Health Care System® is a complete multi-user solution for heat treatment, adapted to a modern business environment. The system is delivered with a number of Activator Packs, a cabinet for storage and a thermostat-controlled heating unit for charging. It is very easy to use, occupies very little space and demands little maintenance. Odourless and steam / vapour free. The heating unit is connected to a standard ‘earthed power point. Selected by businesses and institutions for their employees. The system makes efficient heat therapy accessible whilst employees go about their day to day business. Additional heat packs can be ordered separately on request. Full documentation is provided on individual components. Already in use by small, medium and large enterprises throughout the country. Cold Therapy
Dorcas Cold Pack ® is designed for cooling in a freezer or fridge. Soft and comfortable down to –30°C. High cold capacity. Hygienic to use. Can be stored in freezer, fridge or cooling bag. Delivered with sealed outer cover (should be removed before usage). Can be cleaned with soapy water and be re-used hundreds of times. Available in two sizes: 12 x 24 cm and 24 x 24 cm . Can be provided with individual logo imprinted.
